MSBA Certifies Scott County Attorneys as Criminal Law Specialists

Certified attorneys have demonstrated superior knowledge, skill, and integrity in their specific field, according to the Scott County.

Two attorneys with the Scott County Attorney's Office are now Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Board Certified Criminal Law Specialists: Ronald B. Hocevar and Neil G. Nelson. 

Part of the approval process to become certified includes an examination in the speciality area, peer review and documentation of experience, according to the news release from Scott County

“These achievements are nothing short of remarkable,” said Scott County Attorney Pat Ciliberto in the release.  “Ron and Neil have earned a certification that no more than one percent of practicing attorneys ever receive.  I think I speak for this entire office as I congratulate these outstanding lawyers for their extraordinary accomplishments.”
