Fire Reported at Rahr Malting Co.

The fire at the malting plant downtown started around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

A fire in a wall broke out at Rahr Malting Company on Wednesday morning, causing minor damage

The Shakopee Fire Department was called to malting plant on First Avenue West around 10:30 a.m. after employees noticed a "hot wall," KSTP reports.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Rahr makes and distributes malt brewing supplies.
