Minnesota State Sacred Harp Singing Convention

September 21-22, 2013
9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Potluck lunch from 12-1 p.m.
Drop in anytime or for the whole time.
Sacred Harp, or shape-note, is a 200-year-old tradition of singing hymns,
anthems, and gospel songs from The Sacred Harp song book. Singers sit in a hollow square and take turns leading songs.  Everyone is welcome
regardless of musical ability. Sing or just listen. Child care and loaner books
are provided.
