Luxury Grocer Coming to Prior Lake
Village Market will soon become the newest Lunds location.
Lund Food Holdings Inc. has bought a 35,000-square-foot grocery store in Prior Lake.
According to the Minneapolis/St.Paul Business Journal, Lund Food closed on a purchase agreement with Village Market on Monday. The company is currently in the process of stocking and rebranding the store is at 16731 Highway 13. When complete, the grocery will include a Bachman’s flower shop and Caribou coffee bar.
The Prior Lake location is the company's first in Scott County. The closest Lunds locations are in Burnsville and Chanhassen.

“This is a great opportunity for us to grow our family of employees and extend our brand into an area of the Twin Cities where we previously lacked a presence,” Lund Food President and CEO Tres Lund said in a press release.
