Shakopee Goes Big Time Over the Rainbow

Director Scott Swanson is combining the traditional memories with some unusual twists.

River Valley Theatre Company is starting rehearsals with a cast of 73 locals for the Wizard of Oz in July. This summer production is exceeding all expectations for interest and talent according to Daphne Siegert, RVTC board vice president and Wizard of Oz producer.

Beginning June 25, tickets are $14 or $12 for senior and students. Family packs of four tickets are priced at $45.
