Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Beekeeper Victoria Ranua spoke about bees and honey with Dig In Minnesota host Teri Knight.
The first piece of advice Ranua gave to people interested in beekeeping was to shadow and learn from a current beekeeper.
This year the SMSC offered a 15-week beekeeping course that began in April and will end in October.
