ReplyIf anyone harmed our dog or cats I'd hope the cops find them before I do. If any discription of the suspect becomes known hope it's made public.

ReplyHow can shooting suspects at large not be a danger to the public unless it was in self defense ans not during the act of commiting a crime ?

ReplyJennifer, I can agree that you shouldn't leave guns laying around for them to fall in the wrong hands. But to say John sides with special interest over children is just political rhetoric. If you disagree with John do so honestly and realistically. Have a talk or contact John in email and let him know what you think. I can agree with some points with people who don't want guns around but someone has to fight back against violence. Better yet see beyond political rhetoric to prevent the violence when possible.

ReplyWorking out differences and arguing are two different things.
I wasn't insinuating people here are arguing.
Just most of what I hear and read since the shooting. The intent must be a solution not just winning a debate or argument.

ReplyThe problem isn't whether we have too many guns or too little.
The trouble is adults are arguing about it, forgeting that kids need us to show them how to work out problems and they need to know we are there for them.
We need to show them by example how to work out disagreements and problems.

ReplyYou can't tell the difference between some adults from kids these days. I've known kids that had more sense.
Regardless where I stand on the issues leave free speech and expression as well as ALL the signs that help show it alone.

All good ideas. Maybe along the corridor have a Shakopee information center showing off Dangerfields and Wampach's and Turtles. Off course more is needed to attract people to downtown. Motel shuttles would help.
Right now when I come to town I stop and get gas off Marshal Rd ans 169. Then to 1st av for auto repair.
There are a couple places in Shakopee that is less expensive than anywhere else I go and the workmanship is better. So I make the trip worth while.
