My views changed from only same-sex civil unions would only be possible to urging for passage of the Freedom to Marry Act.
I recently heard Mike Obermueller has declared his candidacy for 2014. I believe he has a serious approach to working with both Democrats and Republicans to deal with the tough issues.
The State Legislature has taken upon many issues to decide during this legislative session. Many issues Minnesotans do not approve of with very little or no say whatsoever on these issues.
We need a compromise, not each side of the marriage debate trying to define marriage every time a new state legislature gets elected.
The No Budget, No Pay Bill gave me an Idea for the Minnesota State Legislature to prevent state shutdowns. A “No Budget, No Pay” Bill should be introduced in the Minnesota State Legislature.
I am part of that younger generation that faces the real reality of the Fiscal Cliff. Our country has 16 trillion dollars in debt; Social Security and Medicare will go bankrupt by 2050.
