Update: Four Injured in Shakopee Electrical Incident Identified

The four men involved in an electrical accident while working near the Shakopee prison have been identified. The four, all employees of Shakopee Public Utilities, are Jay Abrahamson, 40, Cody Schuett, 30, Matthew Griebel, 27, and Ryan Wermerskirchen, 26. Police incident reports show Abrahamson was performing an electrical upgrade at West Sixth Avenue and South Adams Street on a pole, while the other three men were working at 1010 W. Sixth Avenue. Abrahamson and Schuett suffered significant second-degree burns to multiple areas of their body, according to incident reports from Shakopee police.
