Three Charged in Shakopee Home Invasion Burglaries

Heroin addiction was behind the crimes, police say.

Three people have been charged in connection with numerous home invasion burglaries in Shakopee in recent weeks. Anthony Azariel Garrido, 18, is accused of burglarizing several homes, including one in which a woman was at home in the shower. Garrido is charged with three felonies: first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling, and two counts of third-degree burglary. His twin brother, Bryant Azariel Garrido, is charged with two counts of felony third-degree burglary. The Garridos have the same Shakopee address listed on court records. Nineteen-year-old Camilo Andres Ramirez, of Lakeville, is facing two felony charges of third-degree burglary – aiding and abetting.
