Shakopee native James Fritz first became interested in cabinet-making in a high school shop class. He went on to serve apprenticeships in custom cabinet shops, managed a custom shop for 10 years, and founded his own business in 2004.

Fritz Cabinetry custom-builds indoor and outdoor cabinetry in traditional or contemporary designs, in materials including wood and steel. Fritz also makes freestanding furniture to customers' specifications. Fritz has a staff of four other expert cabinet-makers, with years of experience. The staff also includes a trained architectural and interior designer.
