Chipotle prides itself on serving freshly prepared food that is quick and convenient to pick up, but not "fast food," in the usual sense. All of the food served at Chipotle is carefully prepared using classic culinary techniques, with no shortcuts. For example, Chipotle makes its signature guacamole the "slow way" -- hand-mashing avocados with freshly diced onions and lime multiple times per day.

Chipotle's mission also includes serving sustainably raised food -- sourcing organic and local produce whenever possible and using meat from animals raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones.
