'Canterbury College' Starts Feb. 10

Free six-course program offers basic handicapping tips.

Registration is now open for a six-course "Canterbury College" program to teach horseracing fans the basics of handicapping races. Enrollment includes free course materials, free tuition and free lunch on class days.

Classes are noon to 3 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 10 and 24, March 10 and 24 and April 7 and 21. "Professors" include Jeff Maday and Angela Hermann of Canterbury Park, Paul Allen of KFAN and Kevin Gorg of FSN.  

To sign up for the course, email cbypark@canterburypark.com with your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.  Please include "Canterbury College" in either the subject line or the body of the email.  Or you can call 952-496-6437.

This course is designed for novice handicappers.  If you are a regular Canterbury simulcast player, this course may not be for you.  Due to limited space, Canterbury Park reserves the the right to limit admission to novice players.
