Shakopee Chamber Gets Legislative Update from Elected Officials of District 35

Topics included the Highway 101 bridge and the Vikings in Shakopee.

We had a great April Business Builder Breakfast featuring Senator Claire Robling and Representative Mike Beard. With a full house at the Shakopee Police Department Training Room, our members got to hear a legislative update from Rep. Beard and Sen. Robling on some of the hot topics affecting our members. Some of the topics discussed were transportation, the 101 bridge construction, e-commerce taxation (or lack thereof), Racino, the Vikings in Shakopee and more! It was a great time for our members to hear some of the things going on at the Capitol and to weigh in on them with questions and comments.

Our events are not just open to our membership; the general public is always welcome at any of our featured events. For more information or to register for an upcoming event please visit our website at www.shakopee.org or email us at chamber@shakopee.org
