Shakopee to Celebrate Prom on Saturday
More than 500 tickets have been sold for the Shakopee High School Prom on Saturday in Bloomington.
Hundreds of decked-out teens will descend on Saturday for a Grand March preceding this year's Prom.
The Grand March starts at 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Afterward, prom with dinner and dancing will get into full swing, from 7-11:30 p.m. at the Double Tree in Bloomington. The theme is Welcome to the Enchanted Side and 550 tickets at $65 each have been sold for the event.

All students are expected to arrive at the Double Tree Hotel no later than 7 p.m., and they and guests are required to bring photo IDs to the event.
