Minnesota School of Business – Shakopee Offers New Fraud Prevention Program

The program would appeal to inquisitive, disciplined and focused individuals, according to MSB’s Accounting Chair, Joseph Traxler.

is now offering a Forensic Accounting Program. It's designed to provide students with the knowledge, technical skills and professional habits to pursue a career helping businesses detect and prevent fraud.

"This program would appeal to an inquisitive, disciplined and focused individual," said MSB’s Accounting Chair, Joseph Traxler.

Students in the program take basic accounting, tax and auditing, and special courses in fraud prevention and detection.

After completing the requirements for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Accounting, students will be prepared and eligible to take the MSB Certified Fraud Exam Review Course. This will prepare students to take the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Review Course.
