Good to Go Kids Fundraiser Next Tuesday

Proceeds from event will go toward providing nutrition for Shakopee students.

Good to Go Kids will host a fundraiser night at Chipotle Mexican Grill, 8094 Old Carriage Court in Shakopee.

The event is from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, and during that time 50 percent of the cost of your meal at Chipotle will go to the Good to Go Kids Program. The program was established by Shakopee School Board member Mary Romansky last summer to help ensure students in Shakopee get the nutrition they need to help keep their minds and bodies active and healthy. The program is based on the fact that healthy and nutritional food helps students learn better and have better attendance.

Good to Go Kids is not connected to or run by the school district. It operates under the umbrella of a 501.3C non-profit, the Carver Scott Educational Foundation. For more information, call (952) 445-9370 or (952) 913-3413, or e-mail goodtogokids@gmail.com.
