Other facts

For 20 years I served on the Shakopee School Board. During this time, the board and staff worked well together and with the support of the voters successfully met the challenges created with a rapidly changing and growing community. It was an honor to help build a better tomorrow for future generations of Minnesotans.

Running for the Minnesota Senate is a natural continuation of my years in public service. As a moderate and advocate for fiscal responsibility, I know I can work with other local and state leaders to meet the challenges facing us. It is my desire to move Minnesota forward--put more Minnesotans to work, support a strong and stable educational system, and find equitable and fair solutions to reduce the tax burden on home and business owners. It is time to return to the long-held Minnesota values of shared responsibility and working together for the betterment of all citizens. I am excited to talk with you to discuss how together we can move Minnesota forward!
