Shakopee Police Looking for Missing Man

Eric Michael Lindquist is thought to have disappeared when he went fishing on the Minnesota River.

Shakopee police are asking for the public’s help in finding a local man who hasn’t been seen since Monday, the agency announced.

Eric Michael Lindquist, 37, was last seen by a family member at 10:30 p.m. Monday. He is thought to have left his home on foot to go fishing on the Minnesota River via Memorial Park but never returned home.

The Shakopee Police Department and Fire Department have searched the area by foot water and air, with help from a State Patrol helicopter.

No foul play is suspected.

Lindquist is a white man, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and is though to be wearing a dark blue or black jacket with a hood and baggy blue jeans.
