Shakopee Man Found Dead Near Top Star Market
The man's identity has not been released. No foul play is suspected.
There were no signs of foul play in the death of a 52-year-old Shakopee man found Wednesday morning near Top Star Market, said Shakopee Police Captain Craig Robson.
"It appears to be an accidental death due to intoxication," Robson said.

Shakopee Police were called to the scene at 8:41 a.m. after someone passing by noticed the man lying on the ground in the snow. The police officers arrived and found him dead, Robson said.
Bottles of alcohol were found near the man and officers could smell alcohol. It appeared that he had fallen in the snow on his way from Top Star Market to his apartment.

The cause of death has not yet been confirmed by the coroner. The man's identity has not been released while the cornor notifies next of kin.
