Police Blotter: 11 Minors Cited Friday Night for Underage Consumption of Alcohol

The following is a selection of police calls received Jan. 25-27:

Friday, Jan. 25

4:05 p.m.: Arrested a 19-year-old Shakopee resident for theft on the 8100 block of Old Carriage Ct.

5:06 p.m.: Responded to call about theft from Holiday gas station on Greenwood Ct.

9:16 p.m.: Responded to call about loud music and partying.

Saturday, Jan. 26

12:12 a.m. Eleven minors between the ages of 15 and 20 were cited for consuming alcohol on the 1000 block of E. Bluff Ave., between Huber Park and Memorial Park.

3:39 a.m.: Received call about “strange smells.”

10:15 a.m.: The Holiday gas station at 444 E 1st Ave received a counterfeit bill.

Sunday, Jan. 27

12:15 a.m. Arrested a 16-year-old Shakopee resident for fleeing police on foot after consuming alcohol on the 100 block of 17th Ave.

2:04 a.m. Received call from St. Francis Security about a threat.
