Third Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Shakopee High School Senior
Michael Devon Jarmon was the third man charged in the death of Marcos Pantaleon at the student's home earlier this year.
The third man charged with murder for the death of Shakopee High School senior Marcos Pantaleon, 19, was arrested on Aug. 3 in Las Vegas.
Michael Devon Jarmon, 31, of Plymouth is currently in a Nevada jail awaiting extradition to Minnesota, according to a Shakopee Police Department news release.
Pantaleon was killed in an armed robbery at his home in April. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others in the home were also shot in the incident.
Jarmon was charged in July with five felonies in connection to the incident, including second-degree intentional murder and first-degree aggravated robbery.
Two other men involved in the robbery were already in custody. Justin Kenyatta Watson pleased guilty to second-degree unintentional murder in July. Steven Andre Moore is in Scott County Jail and faces felony charges.
“These arrests are the result of a lot of excellent police work on the part of our officers and numerous other agencies,” said Shakopee Police Chief Jeff Tate in the release. “We appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in bringing the case to this point.”
