Bomb Threat on Bus Heading From Mall of America to Mystic Lake Casino

Police determined that there wasn't a bomb and Richfield Police are investigating.

A Saturday evening bus trip to Mystic Lake Casino from the Mall of America was delayed after someone called in a bomb threat, saying that there was a bomb on a bus headed to the casino.

Prior Lake Police received the call and Richfield Police located the bus, according to John Stanger with Prior Lake Police.

“They determined there was no bomb. No one was in any danger,” Stanger said.

Passengers were evacuated from the bus and transferred to a new bus, according to Police Clips.

Richfield Police are investigating the incident. Patch will have updates when available.

I saw that yesterday. They had Nicollet blocked off from 77th street south to the frontage road north of 494.
And I did see a Mystic Lakes bus in the new Menard's parking lot. Thanks for letting us know.
