VIDEO: Shakopee back on SNL

"K108 FM" Shakopee radio station makes comeback, this time with guest host Jennifer Lawrence.

Shakopee was back on Saturday Night Live last night.

On of the sketches from the Jan. 19 episode of Saturday Night Live revisited the imaginary K108 FM radio station in Shakopee and the antics of a pair of early-morning "rap sports" radio hosts. Guest star Jennifer Lawrence also appeared in the skit.

The characters debuted in the March 3 episode of SNL, when guest host Lindsay Lohan was also featured.

Last time around Twitter was abuzz with talk of the Shakopee mention. One popular theory for how Shakopee was chosen as the setting for the sketch was that 1999 St. Olaf College graduate, Shelly Gossman, who now works on the show, may have been the link. See her story here.

After the first airing, Shakopee mayor Brad Tabke sent a letter of thanks to Lorne Michaels, creator and executive producer of the long-running comedy show. This time around, Tabke was mentioned by name in the skit.
