Severe Storms South Bring Cool Clouds to Shakopee

Additional thunderstorms are possible through this weekend.

Some severe thunderstorms blew through just to the south Wednesday night.

As of 5:30 p.m. storms had popped up in south central Minnesota just west of Mankato, where tornado warnings went into effect just before 6 p.m. The storms moved mostly straight east, grazing the edge of Scott County.

Scott County remains under a Hazardous Weather Outlook through Tuesday with additional thunderstorms possible through this weekend. None are predicted to be severe as of late Wednesday night, the National Weather Service said.
