New Ramps Opening Late Wednesday
The Highway 169/I-494 interchange project has several new openings scheduled Wednesday.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled the opening of new ramps, a roundabout, and frontage road to occur by 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a MNDOT press release:
West 78th Street, between Hwy 169 and Washington Avenue, along with the ramp from West 78th Street to westbound Interstate 494 will open at the same time, weather permitting.

Also opening at this time will be the roundabout located on West 78th Street and the ramp from southbound Hwy 169 to West 78th Street.
In addition W. 78th Street north of I-494 will open beneath Hwy 169, and motorists will be able to use the frontage road connecting Prairie Center Drive and West Bush Lake Road.
