VIDEO: Valleyfair Opens Saturday, KARE 11 Previews Rides
Valleyfair opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12.
With opening Saturday, KARE 11's morning show is there for a preview, testing rides and giving a taste of what's to come this summer.
Also good for Shakopee neighbors to know, Valleyfair will light up the sky from June 1 – August 25 with a fireworks display. Fireworks begin at 9:50 p.m. on every night the park is open until 10 p.m. or later.
will now be available at the park, as will Dickey’s Barbecue, near the entrance of Planet Snoopy, with Texas-style BBQ.

New in live entertainment is the all-new "Charlie Brown's All-Stars." Join Charlie Brown and his team of PEANUTS All-Stars for fun at the PEANUTSTM Showplace.
There's also a new option called the Fast Lane, which, for an additional fee, lets you bypass the regular line on 10 of Valleyfair's most popular rides, including the corkscrew, mad mouse, steel venom and thunder canyon.
