Small Business Saturday 2012: Shopping Local in Shakopee
The third annual event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24.
Small Business Saturday is a day to shop local during Thanksgiving weekend. This year it falls on Nov. 24.
Started in 2010 by American Express, Small Business Saturday is a way for local businesses to participate in the busy shopping weekend. Last year there were over 100 million local shoppers, according to information on the Small Business Saturday website.
