Shutterfly in Shakopee?

Officials are staying mum, but the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal suggests that Shutterfly is considering a facility in Shakopee.

Another 700 jobs could be coming to Shakopee, the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal has reported

Shutterfly may be considering constructing a 250,000 sq. ft. building for a Shutterfly location in the Dean Lakes Business Park.

According to the Journal:

The new building, set on a 23-acre site on the southeastern quadrant of Highway 169 and Canterbury Road, could hold about 700 employees during the company's peak production season in the fourth quarter, according to one source.

City officials did not confirm anything with the Journal. Shakopee Mayor Brad Tabke also told Patch that he has no comment on the topic.
