ValleySCARE Opens Soon with 10 Haunted Attractions

Halloween Haunt and Planet Spooky at ValleySCARE will soon open for the 2013 season at Valleyfair Amusement Park in Shakopee.

Halloween Haunt will feature ten terrifying mazes and scare zones. This year will see two new mazes and a scarezone, according to the Valleyfair spokesperson. London Terror, Zombie High and Carnevil: Ringmaster's Revenge are the new attractions for 2013. Live entertainment and thrill rides will add to the terror of Halloween Haunt.


For non-scary Halloween fun, visit Planet Spooky. Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang will take part in attractions such as a scavenger hunt, hay bale maze, storytelling witch and a coloring contest.

New at Planet Spooky this season is Trick or Treat at the Dinosaurs Alive! attraction. Guests can receive candy from a 25-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex for free with Junior/Senior admission or $5 with park admission.

The ValleySCARE attractions will open on weekends from Sept. 21 through Oct. 27. Halloween Haunt is open on Friday and Saturday nights, with a bonus night on Thursday, Oct. 17. Planet Spooky is open during the day on Saturdays and Sundays.
