Community Corner

Why the Links to Other Sites?

Patch is dedicated to providing information—from all sources.

Shakopee Patch is more than an online newspaper—we want to be your first look for all the news and information about our community you can find online. That’s why, alongside the content we create ourselves, you’ll occasionally see headlines from stories, blogs and other sources of information created outside of Patch.

Clicking on these headlines takes you away from Patch and right to the original source. It could be another newspaper, a personal blog, a school district or anyone else producing online information we think would interest our audience. Sometimes, next to the headline, you’ll see a little rectangle with an arrow—this symbol means clicking here will take you away from Patch and onto another Web site. To return to Patch, just click the back button on your Web browser.

We always credit and link to the people who created this outside content. These people benefit because we bring them a wider audience. You benefit by getting quick access to more information you care about. And Shakopee Patch has made your time online a little more efficient.

Find out what's happening in Shakopeewith free, real-time updates from Patch.
