Shakopee Chamber Hosting Wine Voyage Event Nov. 16

The evening will include a live and silent auction, wine tasting, and food from five countries.

(The following is a release from the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce.)

The Shakopee Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their very first Wine Voyage Event on Friday, Nov. 16, at the Wilds Golf Club (3151 Wilds Ridge) in Prior Lake and the public is invited to attend.

Want a chance to get away for an evening on a Wine Voyage? Those in the community and surrounding areas (along with their families and friends) are invited to join us for an all access pass to taste and sample some of the greatest wines, beers and bites from five different countries. Guests will have their taste buds tantalized as they make their way through a sea of dishes and flavors from regions all over the world.

This fun evening will also include a live and silent auction, an interactive photo booth with props, live entertainment and more! There will be special guest appearances by singer and former contestant of The Voice Tim Mahoney, Minnesota Wild Defenseman Tom Gilbert and former NFL player Jon Melander—just to name a few!

In addition, the Shakopee Chamber and SW Metro Transportation (TAXI TAXI TAXI) will be providing safe rides home for guests in need free of charge.

Tickets for this fun night out are just $40 per person in advance or $45 per person at the door. Buy your tickets today as they are selling fast! Please visit www.shakopee.org for additional information. Contact Emily Strom with questions or to purchase tickets for this event at (952) 455-1660 or estrom@shakopee.org.

The proceeds from the Wine Gala will fund Chamber programs and events throughout the year. The Chamber is committed to helping create and sustain a thriving business community in Shakopee by providing Access, Advocacy, Visibility and Resources to our members.
