The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce their September Business Builder Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 7:30 - 9:00am at the Scott County Board Room within the Scott County Government Center in Shakopee, MN and the public is invited.
37,000 additional new jobs in Scott County by 2030? That is the SCALE Goal that local officials from Shakopee and other Scott County communities are actively working on together. You are invited to join us for an informative and interactive discussion featuring SCALE (Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency) Partners. Leaders from this bold initiative will explain “Economic Development – Strategies for Success”. This program will focus on SCALE’s Unified Plan for Economic Development throughout Scott County. These initiatives are vital to the business climate right here in Shakopee and surrounding areas. After this discussion, you will leave with better knowledge of how SCALE Partners are working to help local businesses.
Want to find out more about what is going on with SCALE and Scott County? Then join us in the Scott County Board Room of the Government Center at 200 4th Ave West, Shakopee, MN on September 12 at 7:30am. The Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency (SCALE) was formed in the spring of 2003 to encourage greater efficiencies and leadership in public service through enhanced communication, collaboration of services, and sharing of resources. Members include elected and appointed officials from all seven cities, schools, and townships within Scott County, the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, and Scott County.
SCALE members meet monthly to discuss ways in which local governments can continue to maximize the value of taxpayers' money through cooperating in mutual service areas, such as economic development, public safety, parks and recreation, transportation, and general government.
