This year Veterans Day falls on a Sunday—Nov. 11. Some businesses will close on Monday in observance of the federal holiday. 

Closed on Monday, November 12

• Shakopee Library along with all Scott County Library branches

• City Hall

• Shakopee Public Utilities

• Post Office

• Banks are also generally closed on federal holidays and would observe Veterans Day on Monday.  

Open for Veteran’s Day

Many retail stores and restaurants stay open and offer deals for veterans.

Dick’s Sanitation, which provides residential refuse and recycling services, will run on its regular schedule.
