Shakopee Police Blotter: Male Suspect Gets Away in Attempted CVS Robbery

The following is a selection of police calls received between Feb. 15 and Feb. 18:

Friday, Feb. 15

4:07 p.m.: Animal bite on the 1000 block of E 3rd Ave.

4:53 p.m.: Theft reported on corner of Old Carriage Rd and Old Carriage Ct.

9:57 p.m.: Motor vehicles stolen from 600 block of Gorman St.

Saturday, Feb. 16

2:16 a.m.: A 16-year-old Shakopee boy cited for underage consumption of alcohol on the 1200 block of Harrison St.

4:58 a.m.: A 30-year-old Shakopee man arrested for domestic assault and interference with a 911 call on the 2000 block of W 13th Ave.

2:33 p.m.: A 50-year-old cited for theft from Kohl's.

7:04 p.m.: Two 18-year-old Iowa men cited for theft from Walmart.

Sunday, Feb. 17

12:31 a.m.: A 52-year-old Bloomington man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol without proof of insurance.

7:32 p.m.: A complaint about hunting reported on the 1700 block of Caspian Ln.

Monday, Feb. 18

12:09 a.m.: A fire was reported near Walmart.

11:32 a.m.: Attempted robbery at the CVS on Dean Lakes Blvd. The male suspect got away and police are reviewing surveillance video, according to the Shakopee Valley News.
