River Valley Theater Company Seeks Volunteers for November Production
The production of "Lend Me a Tenor" will run over two weekends.
While rehearsals of River Valley Theatre Company's November production of Ken Ludwig's “Lend Me a Tenor” are well underway, community help is needed to help make the show a success.
Producer Amy McGarness is seeking volunteers to help finish the art deco set, construct costumes, set lighting and run backstage crews.
“Some experience is helpful but not necessary,” she said. “Everyone is welcome.”
Work will be done in the evenings and on Saturdays. Those interested should call (952) 856-7062.
“Lend Me a Tenor” is a comedy featuring a complicated web of mistaken identity, crazy plot twists, double entendres, slamming doors and everybody involved desperately wanting something. The show will be performed over the weekends of Nov. 11 and Nov. 20 at the Shakopee Junior High School.
Discounted pre-sale tickets for $10 each are now available until Nov. 1. Tickets may be purchased online at www.rivervalleytheatrecompany.com. Also with this production is a special "Dinner & Show" package for two through Arizona's Steakhouse. This package includes three-course dinner and tickets to see Lend Me a Tenor for $45. To make dinner reservations, call (952) 277-0282.
