Minnesota State Sacred Harp Convention

When: Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: The Landing
Why Go: Join in the traditional, rhythmic sing-along... or at least test your ears out.
Price: Free


Corn Maze & Fall Festival


When: Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Sever’s (1100 Canterbury Road S)
Why Go: Take the family over to the 2011 Corn Maze for a fantastic fall day filled with music, games and other autumnal entertainment.
Price: $13 Ages 4+, Free for Ages 3 and under


Bees Knees - 1920s Hangar Dance

When: Saturday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Where: Flying Cloud Airport - Gate H, Lot 72A (10110 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Prairie)
Why Go: The Scott County Historical Society invites you to grab your roaring ‘20s outfits and cut a rug.
Price: $30 ($25 for SCHS members)


Craig Ferguson

When: Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
Where: Mystic Lake Casino
Why Go: Spend the evening laughing it up with Scottish-American boob tube host Craig Ferguson.
Price: $49 - $59


Renaissance Festival

When: Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Shakopee Festival Grounds
Why Go: This is the second to last weekend to get your fix of the 41st festival season featuring Renaissance entertainment, music and food won’t disappoint.
Price: $20.95 Adults, $11.95 Children (5-12), $18.95 Seniors (65+), Children under 5 are free
