Premm Badhwa has enjoyed working on transit issues with the Transit Advisory committee and wants to expand his community service by being on the council. He said he has also contributed to the community by “adopting” a stretch of county roadway serving Shakopee. He's interested in the potential for expanding businesses in the city.

Badhwa would bring to the council his engineering skills he used in his 20-year service with the military, and his current work experience as a measurement tech for an oil company. “You have to be on a team to get anything done,” he said. Badhwa has lived in Shakopee six years.
