Although Sarah and I were not very close she will always have a special place in my heart as another woman in recovery struggling with mental health and addiction. I felt a strong connection with Sarah as we tackled our demons yet another time this spring, giving support to one another and making a point to share a hug and an encouraging word whenever we would see each other at a meeting or event. One of the last things I remember Sarah saying to me is that I was one of the women she would seek out in recovery because we were on this journey together and she also felt the connection; this meant so much and I wish I would have told her that. She also told me that she had recently bought a long white skirt and asked if I thought she would look dumb in it because it wasn't her usual style. I told her of course not Sarah you should wear it, try something new. I was hoping I would one day get to see her in that skirt I'm sure you would have looked beautiful. My heart and prayers go out to all that are mourning the loss of Sarah, I know I am. What a sweet, strong and important woman, this is how I will always remember you Sarah. May you always have peace.
Love Lisa R
