Obituary

Mark J. Illetschko, age 87, of Shakopee, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Mark was born on April 3, 1925, in Belle River Township, Douglas County, Minnesota, the son of Stephen and Catherine (Trisko) Illetschko.

Mark worked as a heavy equipment operator for Ames Construction for over 35 years. He was a Local 49, and a member of the Chaska American Legion.

Preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; parents; and 8 siblings. Survivors include his daughters, Sandra and Pamela Illetschko; brother, Ambrose Illetschko; and several nieces and nephews.

Services

Funeral Service Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 11:30 AM at McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 East Third Avenue, Shakopee, MN. Officiating is the Reverend Alan Naumann. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim and BJ Landaas, Aaron and Nathan Landaas, Jonathan and Maria Doucette. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, from 5-8 PM, and Tuesday from 11-11:30 AM, all at McNearney Funeral Home.
